The Four Pillars of Petra
We believe these come from the Lord and are consistent with the Biblical pattern.
The Word
Proclaiming the authority of God's Word without apology.
"Preach the Word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching." 2 Timothy 4:2
Prayer
Believing firmly in the power of prayer.
"Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints" Ephesians 6:18
Worship
Lifting up the name of Jesus Christ in worship.
"God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth. " John 4:24
Proclaiming
Sharing the good news of Jesus with boldness.
And pray for me, too. Ask God to give me the right words so I can boldly explain God’s mysterious plan that the Good News is for Jews and Gentiles alike. I am in chains now, still preaching this message as God’s ambassador. So pray that I will keep on speaking boldly for him, as I should." Ephesians 6:19-20
