Doctrinal Statement

The Bible

The Holy Scriptures are inspired by God, and they are useful and sufficient for living every area of our lives the way God mandates. We do not need any more Word because everything has already been revealed. (2 Tim 3:15-17, 2 Pet 1:3-4; 20-21; Matt 5:18).

God

There is only one God who exists eternally in three different persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, co-eternal in being and nature. (Deut 6:4; 2 Co. 13:14; Isa. 40:28; Acts 1:8-12, 9:14; Jer. 23:23-24; Matt. 28:20; Ps. 139:7-10).

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is God, being the unique mediator between God and us. There is no other name or man by which one can be saved  (Rom 9:5; 1 Tim 2:5; Eph. 1:7; Rom 4:25; Acts 16:31).

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is God, a personal being who possesses all the distinctive attributes of deity. He regenerates the fallen and then he guides to all truth, teaches and reminds all that has been revealed through the Scriptures. (Acts 5:3-4; Tit 3:5b; Eph 1:13; 1 Co 6:19; Ts. 2:13).

Salvation

Salvation is a gift from God given to man by grace, (undeserved favor), through the faith in Jesus Christ alone and not by our own merits. (Eph 2:8-9, 2 Tim 1:9; Isa 64:6; Ro. 8: 33-39).

Man

Man was created in the image and likeness of God; man sinned and was separated from God’s glory, spiritually dead without a relationship, in enmity and without peace with His Creator. (Gen 1:26-27; Rom 3:23, Acts 9:27, Re. 20:14-15, 2 Thes 1:9; Rom 5:12).

The Church

The Church  is the body of Christ. The congregation of the faithful who were born again, only by believing on Christ’s sacrifice. (Eph 1:22-23, 5:25-27; 1 Cor 12:12-14; Acts 2:41).

The Ordinances of the Church

Baptism

We believe that water baptism is an ordenance of God to the church and that is by immersion in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He, who has reckonized his sin, repented from it and become a new creature by believing on Christ, is to be baptized Matt 28:19; Acts 8: 26-39).

The Lord's Supper

We celebrate the Lord’s Supper that the church practices in obedience to God, remembering the death and sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ for our sins and also showing our gratefulness to God for the death of His Son. (1 Cor 11:23-26).

Spiritual Gifts

We believe that God is sovereign in the provision of the spiritual gifts and that it is a privilege and responsibility of every believer before God to use them for serving the others and for edifying the church. (1 Cor 12:4-7, 11, 13; Eph 4:7-8; Rom 12:6-8; 1 Pet 4:10-11).

Final Resurrection

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and unjust; in the perpetual well-being of the saved and the eternal punishment of the lost. (Acts 24:15, 1 Thes 4:16-17; 2 Thes 1:7-9; Matt 25:46).

Satan and his demons

Satan and his demons are real beings, which rebelled against God and His work,. They were defeated by Jesus Christ through the cross of Calvary and they have an eternal future in the lake of fire. (Is. 14:12-14, 1 Co. 6:19, Col. 2:15, Mt. 25:41, Rev. 12:10).
